Put Your Pennies in The Jar

One rep at a time…

One set at a time….

One hour at a time…

One day at a time…

This habit of creating a simple savings account can be created for exercise as well.
The thought of saving a penny a day can be painful because it doesn’t seem like much until you start counting after several months or even a year.

Give yourself a chance by writing your BIG goal down on paper and having it visible everyday so that the habit can be created (this is the breaking point)

Exercise, I believe can be a similar comparison- Do something everyday and the results will take care of themselves:
1. Set your athletic shoes by the front door

2. Set out your clothes for easy dressing in the morning

3. Meal prep and shop one week at a time

4. Cook your meals and follow through as you exercise

5.  Exercise purposefully 20-30 minutes of moderate intensity (65-85% max HR) 2-3 days per week including 3 components (flexibility, strength and conditioning

ONE rep, ONE set, ONE hour, ONE day at a time to reach your goals

A quote that I like to remember that helps me get through ruts:”You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”-wayne Gretzky
