Member of the month: Laura

February’s member of the month is Laura!

Laura has just recently joined us at Digman Fitness in hopes of changing things up in her normal routine. She found herself in a cross-roads with wanting to try something new and challenging, so she signed up for early morning sessions at Digman Fitness. Read below for a chance to find out what Laura likes best about trianing:

Member of the Month Interview Questions:

  1. How long have you been working out with Corey/Digman Fitness?

I first worked out with Corey when I was working with the after school kids at Kids Junction.  I remember a teachers vs. Corey tug-of-war contest, that obviously Corey won.

I started working out at Digman Fitness in October.

  1. What are some of your interests and hobbies?

Running, hiking, singing

  1. What are some things you enjoy about training at Digman Fitness/favorite routine?

What I really enjoy about working out at Digman Fitness is how much variety we have.  It helps to not get bored.  I’ve never enjoyed going to the gym this much before!

  1. What are some of your short/long term goals? This can either be fitness related or not.

  • Lose another 20 lbs (I’ve lost about 10 since starting at the gym).

  • Squat 180 pounds

  • 10 push-ups on my toes

  1. If you were to recommend a friend or promote Digman Fitness, how would you describe your experience to them?

Digman Fitness is small-group personalized training that is fun and upbeat.  Corey takes an assessment when you first start at the gym, so you can see improvement over time.  I really like how he focuses on more than just the goals in the gym, but also flexibility and strength for day-to-day life.  Everyone who works out there is really nice, and we enjoy laughing with Corey on a daily basis.
