February Member of the Month: Shane

I want to introduce our member of the month, Shane! Shane has been working out with us for roughly 10 months and has shown great progress in performance and strength! Read on below for a little insight on what he gets out of training at Digman Fitness:

 

1. How long have you been working out with Corey/Digman Fitness?
I have been working out at Digman Fitness for 9/10 months
2. What are some of your interests and hobbies?
I have an interest in a lot of things. Big interests right now are focused on growing my business, strong man competitions, playing with my kids and once the warmer weather arrives, I plan on getting back on the bicycle and start pedaling
3. What are some things you enjoy about training at Digman Fitness/favorite
routine?
I really enjoyed the group workouts and how the group pushes each other, however I have found a new passion in doing strongman training and really enjoy how supportive everyone is in encouraging everyone to push up the weight and get stronger. Favorite routine right now is working on lifting stones and maxing out on lifts.
4. What are some of your short/long term goals? This can either be fitness
related or not.
My current goal is to get more balance back in my life and really looking forward to that when a few projects finish in March. After that it is training for the Strongman competition taking place on May and wanting to really place top 3 in that competition. Long term, more travel with family and working on projects I am passionate about.
5. If you were to recommend a friend or promote Digman Fitness, how would
you describe your experience to them?
Pain. Lots of pain. OK, not really, but there is that good hurt that you get after a workout at Digman Fitness. Basically it’s that good feeling of hard physical results. Plus, if you like to compete, the group enjoys getting competitive on game day.
